Welcome to Wellington

The Wellington neighborhood of Breckenridge, CO is becoming nationally recognized and has been described as a charming Victorian village with small streets and alleyways leading right into pristine forests. Also lauded are the homes in Wellington – with their dreamy porches, enchanting gables and fretwork, and white picket fences.

Wolff-Lyon Architects and developer David O’Neil designed and developed this unique village set amidst the towering peaks of the Rocky Mountains. They wanted to create affordable homes for working families who lived in the wealthy resort of Breckenridge.

Wellington is an affordable, yet charming Currier & Ives village, and is a place where the local workers can live without having a dangerous long distant mountain commute. Living in Wellington provides a safe village in the mountains, and the charm, elegance, and romance of the Victorian era.

The developers created a carefully designed residential community of 122 mostly single-family residences. They wanted the features of the community to enhance the area and avoid the urban sprawl look. There are more than seventy two-story houses from 1,000 sq. ft. 2 bedroom duplexes to 1,800 sq. ft. 4-bedroom homes.

The houses all have garages built near the back alleys. The community also offers green spaces or parks where children can play safely.
