Copper Mountain, CO is a rural, resort village right in the middle of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and it is only six miles west of Frisco, Colorado. Frisco sits along Interstate 70 and is just 75 miles from Denver. Copper Mountain has 2,450 acres of ski terrain. The town of Frisco has claimed this lovely ski village – or they’ve both claimed one of another!

Copper Mountain and Frisco have mutually decided to say “Frisco is Copper Mountain and Copper Mountain is Frisco’s resort.” Copper Mountain residents’ enjoy their cozy village, rustic lodgings, apres ski entertainment, and exciting events right in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. Residents’ enjoy the convenience of being able to ski-in and ski-out in winter, and then tee-off from their front doors in the summer.

Or they can hop on the Summit Stage, a free county-wide bus, that has a route between Frisco and Copper Mountain.

Copper Mountain Lodge Real Estate

Copper Springs Lodge is a grand, luxurious lodge constructed of stone and wood, and it has the charm of old rustic mountain lodges. It was built in 1998 and consists of 108 luxury condo units having all the amenities of a luxury hotel.

The lodge has one, two and three bedroom units. Just outside your windows are spectacular views of the Ten-Mile Mountain Range and the Copper Creek Golf Course. Also the units come with private decks.

When arriving at Copper Mountain Lodge, residents and guests are welcomed by a stunning patio area carved out of natural rock. Inside the lobby area, they are greeted by the warmth of a roaring fire inside a huge rustic fireplace.

There’s a fitness club, ski lockers, hot tubs, a sauna, and a game area. Residents use their key cards to access the garage, fitness club, sauna room and ski locker rooms.

There is a heated underground parking lot. Copper Mountain Lodge is only steps away from the Super B Lift and the Copper Creek Golf Course. Condo units feature up-scaled wood floors and tiling, fireplaces, and fully-equipped kitchens with dishwashers.

Things to Do In and Near Copper Mountain

Because Copper Mountain and Frisco are close, you will have many varieties of restaurants, cafes, and bars to choose from. There’s plenty of shopping in the area, museums, libraries, parks, a Nordic Center, spas, and fitness centers. And, of course, you are minutes away from major ski resorts. Residents enjoy ice skating, sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, and the great parks in the area.
